An mk whistle is bold re-imagination of the beautifully simple and humble musical instrument - the tin whistle. A great musical instrument is an object of magic - it has another dimension which you can access, transcending time and place, and allowing the imagination to run free. It can be an instrument of solitude, or of togetherness, healing, meditation, celebration, expression, and of connection.

Unfortunately, we live in an age of plastic. The production processes for plastic are cheaper and allow mass scale reproduction, but we will often find more finely created items are made in metals, wood or fine fabrics which often last longer also. Of course, because these materials are harder to work with, it is more difficult to craft the desired object, but this is what separates good from great.
We know all about this because we have been through the process - there are no short cuts. We don't use any corner cutting processes - there is no moulding or bending which causes material to spring back. It's just down to cutting metal, which is never the easiest of thigs to do, and, the precision or our processes which we have evolved through time.

Playing whistle is free from rules and constraints. The beauty is how playing whistle has remained free from rules - technique has not been 'formalised' like on some musical instruments and there aren't any associations or governing bodies deciding how things should be done 'properly'.
