The Questions People Ask a Whistlemaker
Misha Somerville answers questions often asked about an unusual and incredible profession.
Occasionally, we produce a whistle that falls short of our first-quality cosmetic standards. Workshop Blemished whistles are fully functional - they sound and play as well as any other mk whistle - but may have cosmetic issues, including small scratches, colour variation, surface irregularities, and anodising imperfections. Most of these blemishes will be on the body or finish of the whistle. Typical issues might include a colour variation between head and body, a fleck or unanodised area where a metal chip has interfered with the anodising process, or an engraving inaccuracy.
We would rather see these whistles being played than sitting in a drawer and hence we offer them at a discounted price.
We offer our standard warranty on Workshop Blemished models. We cannot provide information or photos regarding the exact condition of individual whistles. We do accept returns on unused items within 30 days of purchase. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
